I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with my good friend Tyler Drake on The Ascension Podcast. We got into some deep territory: vibroacoustic therapy, frequency as medicine, and why vibration may be the connective tissue between healing, consciousness, and coherence.
Here's what we explored:
Sound as a Cellular Experience
We don't just hear frequencies—we feel them. Every cell in your body responds to vibration whether we perceive them or not. That's not woo: it's physics.
How Zenthesia™ Came to Be
It started with ketamine therapy in 2020. I discovered that music doesn't just accompany the experience—it paints it. Each note shifts your entire perception. This immediately piqued my interest in the power of sound healing. That led me to vibroacoustic devices, but nothing checked all the boxes: powerful enough, high-fidelity, broad frequency range, and the ability to curate my own journey. So I built my own. That changed everything—the experience was transcendent, and it was embodied.
Altered States With & Without Substances
We talked ketamine, breathwork, and how vibroacoustic technology can induce non-substance psychedelic states. The body already knows how to get there. Sometimes it just needs the right input.
Why Vibroacoustic Fidelity Matters
There's a big difference between Dollar Tree earbuds and AirPods Pro. Same principle applies here. Precision, reactivity, and accuracy determine whether you're having an immersive experience true to the music you're listening to—or simply buzzing along with it. And in an amplified experience, distortion isn't just unpleasant: it's incoherence delivered directly into your cells. The subtleties matter.
Festivals as Sanctuaries
Contrary to what you might assume, the right festival environment isn't overstimulation—it's recalibration. Community, sound, intention: these create containers for transformation. We discuss how bringing vibroacoustic beds to this environment allows for introspection and integration in real time.
Subjective Experience is Reality
We got philosophical. What you feel on the table is real. The data matters, but your nervous system's response is the ultimate measurement.
Coherence Over Optimization
This is the big one. We're not trying to hack anything. We're not optimizing for output. We're tuning the human instrument back to its natural state.
This isn't biohacking for performance. It's something simpler and, I think, more profound.
